Oh, great:-) Amazing numbers. What about those Tour de France cyclists training MORE than 3-4 times a week? And, more important: what about triathletes, is there any research done on that?
But from my own experience, I can say that after doing the Lillehammer Oslo race, I experienced no problems or pain that night.
And the same goes for a post-Ironman... even though I needed a full nights sleep right afterwards, I have never experienced any pain or difficulties in the days that followed.
The TdF guys may be in a different bracket, sitting on the bike for 3 weeks, but I have not heard of any research here.
This blog includes all my interests from training, photography, art and teaching. Feedbacks are always welcome :-)
